what is this shit.  Why is it that shit music is so popular?  How can it be that a song with the word “slizzered” can beat out the Black Keys for International Video by a group? It hurts my brain.  Like, I realize that I’m always an asshole about music and call it shit and stuff but legitimately, why is it that everyone likes music about getting drunk and partying better than music that is thought out and played on instruments that require talent?
  As always, I’ve got to say, good job for being successful in the music industry, making it big, being popular, etc.  But you wrote a song that rhymes only because you made up words.
  I’ve been called out on my dislike of this music before.  Someone said that I can’t just hate on everything, I have to respect them for the fact that they are making it, and I do.  I respect that they are making it big, that people scream for them at an awards show, but I can’t respect their music.  They don’t try to improve it, they just do what makes them popular.  I realize it sounds stupid to request them to improve their material when it’s that popular, but it would at least make the songs legitimate attempts.
  I had a conversation with my lovely girlfriend a while ago about Justin Bieber and why he pisses us off so much.  Mind you, we weren’t exactly seeing the argument from both sides, but hey, I don’t really care.  We came to the consensus that we respect him for being famous. We gave him credit for knowing how to play for the crowd, make music that will keep his fans happy.  But if he wants everyone’s respect, he’s got to stop playing up the pretty boy image, and try to write better stuff.  Girls care about his music only because he’s pretty to look at.  Ask a pre-teen girl if she likes Justin Bieber, and she’ll say how cute he is.  Not that he has good music, or he is talented, but that he is easy on the eyes.  What’s worse is that he knows it, and plays it up to stay in the spotlight. 

Anyways, sorry for the ranting.  I know I rip on Bieber a lot, and I’m sure he’s a great guy but (insert everything I previously wrote).
