I’ve noticed that the musicians I like best are the truest to their art form. They aren’t in it for the glory or fame, they don’t boast about how awesome they are, they just play their music. They are willing to play anywhere, with whatever resources they have. For example, Ben Folds played a cover of The Postal Service’s “Such Great Heights”...
As an alternative
to american idol, if you are in Ottawa, tonight on Bravo (channel 40) they are showing a concert by the band Stars. Just in case you want to listen to people singing properly. Not quite as entertaining though.

I think everyone has done it at some point where you screw up a song lyric, because you legit thought you knew what it was?
I was listening to Beverly Hills by Weezer. Second verse goes like this:
